As Chalo is ready is to serve her award winning chai to the specialty coffee scene worldwide, in 2024 we are about to go all-in, make our way into the major league.

Chalo would like to engage an intern who is able to research the possibilities and opportunities in the North American market with a large focus on the states of New York and California next to the large, no huge coffee chains that are run all over the country. As the Chalo mother company already set up shop in the US with her very own Chalo INC as a 100% daughter company, it is just a matter of better logistics and consistent sales darling!

The draft research question could be – which sales strategy is best applicable in the Northern American market and which logistical partner except for Katoennatie offers affordable, fast and reliable added value in this market?

Does Chalo preferably work regionally (based upon the country or even regionally in large countries meaning state per state); which factors do impact to select the right partners for which region and is this channel specific and why?

Based on the knowledge that Chalo thrives best in coffee chains and small independent coffee shop chains; what would be the most optimal stock, storage, order picking and fulfillment option currently available and how would this service still guarantee a sufficient margin for Chalo as a mother holding? Currently we are looking into options closely and always love to be interluded by an ambitious yet affordable disruptive challenger!

Based on variable and fixed costs that come with an autonomous importer entity, would it be smart idea to outsource the operations of the chai logistics to a master brand agent/distributor  and why and in which cases would it be more efficient to do so or to work with regional niche partners such as specialty coffee roasters, coffee chains, wholesalers; specialty tea retailers? What would be the best strategy to keep control of the tone of voice; look and feel and spread the Chalo love over North America?

Which general and niche ecommerce platforms will be the must haves and why and most of all; how are you able to make money on them (vendor seller etc) What will be the share of the ecommerce revenue in the overall revenue in North America?

Which players are most known in the market and is Chalo already in touch with them; directly or indirectly? What would be the good way to approach them; which kind of communication will it require; in which language; which tone of voice; which look and feel?

How will you be able to make sure that Chalo lands an significant partnership in North America and most and foremost in the states of New York and California in 2024?

Will you be the black pepper to our masala in relaunching our award winning chai latte in North America ?
