CHAI BANANA BREADWITH WALNUTS

Oh no, another load of overripe bananas, now what? Well, a slice of tasty banana bread is always a good solution! This quick and easy recipe will leave you craving for more and contains a necessary dose of Chalo Vanilla chai that takes the recipe to the next level. You'll also find a load of walnuts in this recipe for a nice crunch. Ready for the perfect banana bread? Yes, please!

Ingredients

200 g wheat flour

3 tsp baking powder

120 gr sugar

2 eggs

3 bananas (overripe)

a pinch of salt

60 gr walnuts

120 gr butter

1 1/2 scoops of Vanilla Chai

Instructions

Step 1 - Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.Step 2 - Add the dry ingredients to a bowl: spelt flour, baking powder, sugar, a large pinch of salt, and don't forget the vanilla chai.Step 3 - Take another bowl for the wet ingredients. Melt the butter in the microwave or on low heat in a pan. Mash three bananas with a fork until you have a mash.Step 4 - Add the melted butter. Finally, add the eggs.Step 5 - Now mix the wet and dry ingredients. Preferably with a mixer, but you can also use a whisk. Next, chop the walnuts and carefully add them to the batter.Step 6 - Grease a baking tin with a bit of butter and then line it with baking paper. Add the batter to the baking tin. Optional: Cut a 4th banana in half and add it to the top of the batter.Step 7 - Bake the banana bread for about 65 minutes. Cover the banana bread with aluminium foil for the last 20 minutes so that the banana bread does not get too dark.Enjoy!
