Affogato, hmmm, a delicious dessert where you drown your favourite ice cream in espresso. One of Italy's most incredible desserts. We've made it a touch more exotic with an extraordinary combination of our Lemongrass chai and refreshing coconut ice cream. The perfect spoonable dessert for summer.
This recipe is as easy as saying 1,2,3. Just add 1 or 2 scoops of your favourite Coconut ice cream to a glass. We've just Abbot Kinney's Coco Frost Natural, which is easiest to find in Belgian supermarkets.
Dissolve 1 scoop of Chalo's Lemongrass chai in 5cl of boiling water. Foam or heat your Coconut milk of choice. We've just Alpro's Barista Coconut Milk for this. The foaming part is optional, but it gives an additional creaminess to the dessert which is out of this world.
First, pour the dissolved Lemongrass chai over the ice cream and then finish with the foamed coconut milk. Simple. Quick. Delicious.
